thanks cajun!!!
some info i recieved today! the heads were milled .008 by previous owner and im having them surfaced so at most he is taking off will be .002. so with my figures i will be at 11.27:1 SCR and 8.69 DCR with the .040 cometics. thats a HUGE increase from 10:1

Jw, how much does compression effect HP in a N/A setup? Say if i were to bump my compression up from stock (9:1?) to 10.5:1, would that gain me enough hp to be worth the money?

I have read on Tech that every 1 point (ie. 9 to 10) you gain like 4% but i dont think they even make gaskets for the 5.3 other than stock and that would be too much milling
