Atomic, do you have any graphs of the torque curves from the same runs?

I just upgraded to a 4in intercooler on my 99, its a 30x12x4. Its fits but its not fun getting it in there! Noticed about 40 degree drop in iats, seeing about 130-135ish iats in 95 degree weather doing a pull up to 120ish out on the street. Thats alot better the 175! Also noticed slower turbo spool, power is just to hard to tell on the street.

I just got a second boost gauge and I am going to be doing some testing on intercooler pressure drop and exhaust backpressure. Should be very useful I think.

Yep, you can use the backpressure, vs rpm, vs boost to control shift times.... I'm very interested in what you find....

My 12x24x3 core ebay special is tapped out. 21.5 psi before it and only 14.2 getting to the intake manifold. At 13,5 in the intake, I was only having to push 17.5 on the pre-intercooler side so that seems to be its capacity. Looking for a monster intercooler now!!!
