Awesome job man and thanks for getting more data out there. Ebay china crap is not the way, but hey, we can lead the horses to water, doesn't mean all of them will drink up..

Hope your new cooler works out, if not give those ETS guys a call. I'm seeing around 10-15 rise now at 21psi. This includes burnout on a 80 degree day. I'm around 105 on big end of the track.

Thats some killer info guys, guess i'll be investing in a cut out too? I'm going to run a 5" MBRP stainless exhaust after my 4" downpipe, see how that works? What do you guys think about the I/C i just picked up for mine? I bought the 4.5" one, seems to be priced decent too!

Looks like its going to be a beast! With the 99-02 chevys, there just isnt a lot of room to fit a big intercooler. I already had to cut out part of the rad support and grind the frame horns for the bumper and trim the bumper brackets.

Thanks for posting this up. I'd be interested to see how much better(if any) the 4" ebay i/c is.

Well the track results for the 80 with the cxracing intercooler versus the 76 with the ebay intercooler gave me about 3mph in the 1/8th and required about 15% injector at the same boost level, so there is definitely more power there.

This thread motivated me to check pressure drop on my ebay 12x24x3 intercooler. Tonight I found 13.5 psi in the intake and 17.5 in the pipe before the intercooler. I am borrowing a friends back pressure gauge tomorrow and will be checking by hot pipe pressure. Something is bound to need upgrading around here. Ha ha. How does that line lock work on the rear of you brakes atomic? It is you that has that one from summit mounted in the back right?
Great thread man!

It works great. If you are asking literally how it works, it prevents pressure from being applied to the rear brakes when I step on the brake pedal.

I am curious about my turbine back pressure as well...

Just making sure that set up is working well for ya. That is the way I want to hook mine up, but it is not the conventional way to have a line lock installed. I like the old footbrake feel of that rear mount though. Keeps things like I am used to. Should know my backpressure tomorrow evening. A little confused why my ebay intercooler seems to be flowing better than yours and foose's did. Hmmm, IDK. Much to learn and more to find out. How much fuel did the cutout require in the tune when you opened it. I am tuned to 11 pm to 1 on a m15 meth nozzle now.
Thanks again for sharing!
