Default Desert Storm's 5.3 dyno numbers...

Here are my dyno numbers of my 5.3 Forged with our head and cam setup and will be taking to the San Antonio shoot out in Feb 23rd. This was on our in-house MD-1750SE Mustang chassis Dyno. 499.6HP and 388.6TQ

Is that 499 at 7200RPM's?

That's ******' sweet! Good job. A combo like that would probably be awesome in my 3700lb GTO, and get better gas mileage than my 6.0 - but - how big is that cam? Are we talking 230 plus on the intake side? Where does it idle at?

Cam is a 239/247. Truck idles very nice at 950. Thanks for the kind words. I have a lot put in to this build and didn't take no shortcuts at all. Figured everything out on paper and then started the build.

Wow congrats !

I'd say 500 and call it a day we need an idle clip of that beast.

Truck looks killer , engine does too ! I see you mounted your coils off the valve covers , looks great , did you have to make custom wires ?

Thanks. I will take a idle video tomorrow and post it up.
Valve covers are a kit from Kateck performance. They came with the coil relocation brackets and custom MSD wires.

I thought horsepower and torque curves were supposed to cross at 5252 rpm...
