Default Bolt-On 4.8 Dyno..... Thoughts?

Old dyno of the truck when I had it dynoed just before the cam swap for a baseline and comparison. Haven't been back since the camswap (Comp 206/212 on a 112) and retune but plan to soon. I was pretty unimpressed w/ the HP #'s although I thought the torque was atleast respectable. Just seems low especially since it was on a dynoject and not a mustang. The graph is pretty flat, in fact I have never seen a graph w/ this flat a curve. Not sure if the convertor was locked or unlocked for the two runs?

Opinions? What do you guys think about the #'s and the graph for the mods? IMO something is off here, just don't know what?

Specs/Mods:
-05' RCSB 4.8/Auto
-Volant CAI, Shaner Ported TB, Corsa Catback, Wheatley 93 Tune
-Eaton w/ 3.73's thru the stock convertor
-Corvette Servo

Peak HP
: 225
Peak Torque: 260

I would bet that the converter wasn't locked. When I spun my truck up, I locked the converter and forced 3rd gear with the laptop. This way I could start the run at 3,000 rpm without a downshift.

That is strange. I pulled 270hp with my 4.8 similar mods except i have Lt's and no cats and a Nelson tune and had 22s on the truck that weighted in at 90lbs a piece. And 3.23s and no servo.

might be a little low, but in you only have cai muffler and tune. tq looks about right. the cam will help a lot. does it feel any stronger w/cam swap? you also need Lt headers. Lt's seemed to wake mine up as much as the cam did.

Yea... I would have been alot happier w/ HP #'s closer to 250-260, what kind of toruqe did it put down?

Granted my mod list is pretty short, but 225 rwhp is close to stock #'s If I'm not mistaken. From my TB, CAI, catback, I might have gained 10-12 rwhp. But the tune alone should have netted me atleast 20rwhp or so.

It feels stronger w/ the cam esp in the midrange. I'm leaving power on the table w/ the lack of LT's, but it should be stronger #'s wise as it sits IMO.

you should be 250 hp range w/ bolt ons. not having Lt's is killing you. should still see 270-280 w/ the cam. put the Lt headers on the top of the mod list.

There on the list, just tired of dropping money on this thing right now. Anybody think the graph itself looks out of the ordinary?

I wanna say it was like 263. But i am not at home so i cant look at the sheet. I will have the wife look and I will tell you.

I am pretty sure after the cam and retune that I am some where just over 300HP with the new billet wheels.
BUt that's not what the HP calculators are saying.
