So went to the dyno on friday and was tuned. The truck made 311 hp and 300 tq. at 6500 rpm.I think the cam is killing me but other say different. Current list of mod is tbss intake,lt,3600 converter, 224/232 581/596 114. stock injectors and stock heads.

 

are your injectors fueling enough to spin that high with your cam...?

You need injectors like crazy!

 

Injectors are at 95 percent duty cycle. You think there more power left with bigger injectors and a retune.

 

95% isnt too bad but 80-85% would be better. A little bit bigger injector should help out on top for sure. Were those the numbers @ 6500 or where those PEAK numbers and just ran it to 6500?

 

back when my mods were similar to those including the cam i did 341rwhp, i was running all stock top end, my cam is a 224/230 581/588 112, idk what it does now with a tbss intake, bigger injectors and worked heads, but you should atleast be in the 320s, something is holding you back, are you running 862s??? 311 is not bad, but would expect more.

 

something isnt rt.. i put 340 @ 6200 and thats because i ran out of injector.. now im spinning to 6600 so im assuming im putting down more.. the hp curve was still shooting straight up when we tuned it at 6200.. my cam is smaller 222/226 596/ 598 111+2

 

yeah that was peak after 6500 if started to fall on it face.

 

Yeah my stock heads untouched are 862.
