6.0L 5-Speed Dyno Day (Part 2)

Very nice. The torque is lower, but I agree that with your trans gearing it's not really much of a problem. Even with an automatic and the right converter it would still be faster with this new setup. I'm curious though if the a/f ratio and timing was close to the same for both runs. It's hard to tell from that sheet.

Well, the timing was set to a max of 26 degrees from both combos. I never did try adding or taking timing out of the new setup just because I was limited to only 3 runs and was tinkering with the AFR more than anything else.
Here's my best run with the OLD cam and the AFR as best as I could get it......

And here's with the new cam, same total spark advance and the best I could get the AFR within 3 pulls..........

Think there's more left in it?

I like the look of the second graph better. Its real smooth and tops off higher. That other cam peaked at about 5k wtf? and this new cam peaks and 5700? still a small wtf but I have a feeling once the truck intake goes back on you will either see "nicer" numbers or a better torque curve. Just my thoughts on the matter.
nice pulls though
now get it to the track!
nice pulls though
