Haha, I was reading this and I thought to myself, "why didn't 06Sierra2 get a TR220?" I wonder what a comparison of power numbers the TSP224 vs TR220 vs TSP220 would look like. And I also thought about Otter bro, he keeps saying his hot cam is a compared to yours, this thread got me thinking, maybe i should cam the wifes truck and not let her know

really a TR224? wonder what the biggest difference between this and the TR220 are. maybe higher powerband?

Z06 springs are kinda stretching it depending on what you're going to use your truck for. If you race a lot and don't want to blow it up just because you skimped out on valvesprings just buy some 918's or duals.

As for the difference in a TR220/TR224, you'll see about 10hp more on the topend but the torque difference down low is why the TR220 shines. I like my TR224, but would do a TR220 if I had to do it over again just for the torque difference on the low end and the fact that I have a 2800 stall. If I had a 3200 stall, it would be a different story.

yeah ive been thinking about the torque being my main reason, might go with something i saw from comp that was i think a 218/224. i would probably choose a TR220 112lsa for more low end torque/power with a 3k stall since im running a 6 inch lift on 35's and will have 4.88's and a true trac.

I have no torque with my 4.8 lol. Even with 4.11's. just won't spin from a dead stop. I need a cam or something bad
