The L92 intake only got around 250 CFM through the heads, whereas the LS3 intake managed 290ish CFM. That doesn't tell the story on the low end airflow and velocity that the truck intake can produce, but the top end airflow difference sure is striking. Now, how this relates to your setup....huge flowing heads, but severely limited by the intake manifold. I bet a swap to the NNBS 4.8/5.3 manifold would be a very beneficial swap for you. 007GMC saw 15 rwhp/18 rwtq on his stock cammed LQ4. Food for thought..
coming from someone who has tried the truck, ls6, and a ported fast 90mm all on ported heads...the truck manifold is a performer IMO. atleast in our weight class. dont get caught up in the CFM hype. i have seen lower CFM heads donkey stomp some big CFM heads. it's all in the setup. the L92 heads are always impressive though.

Good info. Have you been back to the track with the ported fast though? 440 rwhp is extremely impressive through 346 and a truck drivetrain.

it just has 3inch single pipe going to a single in single out 3 inch in/out Borla XR1 sportsman muffler.in front of the Borla it has a dynomax 12 inch bullet.I put that on because without it,it was way to raspy, sounded like hillbillys coming down the road.Sounds good,I like it.

lol, thats how mine was with a catless y-pipe and magnaflow, had to add a bullet in front. helped a ton. You still running the PB level 2 trans? Any troubles with it yet? Thats the trans I am running and am pleasantly surprised how well it's holding up.
