Default 02 LQ9 dyno #2

Since my last dyno I've added Pacesetters/ORY, ported TB, cutout, magnaflow 22" muffler, and Wheatley tune update allowing 28 or 29* timing.

All dynos done in 2nd gear

The green line is my last dyno, stock LQ9, stock intake, stock 4.8L exhaust - stock everything, Wheatley "mid grade" tune - 22* timing

The lowest line of the top 3 is with the cutout open. That resulted in 295 rwhp/ 321 rwtq.

The next pull was cutout open, with the air filter lid open. 305 rwhp / 328 rwtq

Final pull was cutout closed, air filter closed. You can see the engine went lean. 299 rwhp / 324 rwtq

I'm thinking about adding adding a cam and 4.10 gears. Thanks everyone

nice man,a 3rd gear pull would have netted higher hp numbers
with the filter out open it went alittle more lean than I like, but can be expected to throw the A/F off alittle
other than that very nice and smooth curve

The run with the filter open air fuel was about 13.2 up top. The run with the cutout closed and air lid closer air fuel was 13.7 up top

those numbers look like mine practically! i have an 03 1500hd that i just dyno tuned this past weekend. I have (OBX longtubes, magnaflow muffler, e-fans, tb coolant bypass, intake, 3 inch body lift, H2 wheel/tire combo)

Other than that, its a stock lq4 6.0

My numbers were 295rwhp 340rwtq. This was on Diablosports superflow dyno (always reads lower than dynojet for some reason)

yeah, it's doing okay. 3rd gear pull should have netted 320-325 rwhp according to wheatley. Not bad considering stock cam 191/196 .467 lift

those are pretty good numbers considering its a 2nd gear pull and your only going to 5800rpm..
