4/6 drop on a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 2wd auto v8 extended cab
#1
Looking to do a4/6 drop on my truck. Thinking 2 inch springs in front with 2inch ball joint blocks on lower ball joints. Will this give me 4 inches lower in front? Standard axel flip in rear with shorter bump stops. Will I need shorter bump stops in front. I am 21.5 center of spindle in front and 23.5inchcenter of rear axel to top of outer wheel well. 4 inches in front Will give me17.5 front height and 6 inches in rear will give me 17.5 inch in rear. With 275/60/20 I will have 10.8 inch wide , 6.496 single side wall height x2 = 12.992 + 20 inch rim=32.992 x 97% (for vehicle weight) = 32.392 inch total height, and half of that (axel center to top of tire ) = 16.196. Witch would give me 1.304 gap at top of tire at wheel well. Inform me if this needs to be different, this is my first attempt at lowering, I need to bring it down some to help me get in and out since my stroke. Please excuse any typos or grammar mistakes. Any help greatly appreciated.
