Default Dropping the rear leaf's....

Ok, so I've got this Ground force drop kit on my truck. In the rear shackle it has 2 mounting positions about 1 inch apart. Right now it is on it's highest setting(2" drop??).

Question is, if I move it to the higher mounting position on the shackle(to lower the truck), will it lower the truck 1 more inch, or 1/2 inch?

If I move it 1 inch at the farthest point in the rear, it should only move half the distance in the center of the leaf spring....correct? That means I can only get 1/2 inch more of drop. Right? Am I making any sense??

less than an 1".... I would think. You're pivoting the end of the spring an inch, so the middle(where the axle is) is going to move less.

Thats kinda what I was thinking. But wasn't sure because they advertised it as another inch. 2/2 or 2/3 drop.
