If you want the 60 you need to look for a F350, and you might look for a HP44 as they are cheaper and more available. Depending on your intentions of coarse. A better list of what your working with would help too.

$1300 completely built. He lost interest in the truck or had to finance a trip for his Fiancé or something like that...The seller stuck about $3000 into the whole thing with a Power-Lock Dana locker, 5.13's, new brakes, Warn manual hubs, bearings, seals and a decent off-road cover. It's your every day 8 lug which is being matched with the 14 bolt GM rear converted to discs, shaved into a 13 bolt (bottom cut off for 3/4" more ground clearance) and Eaton Locker. In all we have about 1750 now in 2 axles...not bad! Plus the original seller of the D60 has all the documented receipts from the professional front end overhaul done by a driveline shop near me who has an unbeatable local reputation. I think the front was a steal, considering it's the right width, high pinion and complete ready for the coil buckets and track bar. Not sure which color we've decided to paint it yet.

I am pleased to introduce myself. I am from Texas and a proud owner of a 1997 dodge ram 1500 2wd. Well, not that proud, which is why I joined this site. I Will be converting the 2wd handmedown from my dad into a 4x4 monster. My plans include a D60 front from a 1994 f-350, 12" lift using leaf springs, an NP 231HD I recovered from a junk yard along with a 46re transmission from a 4wd ram. So far this is all I have gathered, I will be needing the help from all the members who are willing to assist and have better knowledge than me in this field. I work in the oilfield and have limited mechanics know how. I read alot of offroad mags and gather most of my knowledge from there. Please feel free to give any input.
