Talk about disappointing....I ran the truck stock last year and pulled a 15.6 I ran tonight with the following mods....
CAI
Exhaust
Corvette servo
Wheatley tune (93 octane)
Tonight ET's
Churped off the line and that was it.
1st gear sucked....my 60ft's were horrible!
15.83@88mph 60ft=2.44
15.74@88mph 60ft=2.40
15.84@88mph 60ft=2.42
15.83@88mph 60ft=2.41
Truck ran consistently horrible!
WTF! It wasn't horrible weather either....65* out tonight.

First of all had you been running brackets you'd kill them...talk about consistant!!

Did you do a wheel/tire size change since that stock run?

 

No tire height change....went to an 18 wheel but still a 31.5 inch tire.
1st gear was extremely slugish......took for ever to reach the power band...i launched 4wd hi, 2wd, stalled it up....tried everything, and still ran that consistent! The truck runs good once i hit 2nd. I'm thinking about seeing if i can go see Wheatley and let him go for a ride hooked up. I know his tunes are great it isn't launching for ****....Im thinking something might be going on with the motor.

Seriously though, that is pretty slow 60 even for ex cab Z71. Tq mngmnt maybe?

MPH looks about right for the mods. What was the mph on the 15.6 run?

 

I would try to hook up with wheatley, I bet one of your sensors is not working or something like that... What is your MPG like? In my experince MPG is a good indicator of the health of your vehicle, except if your FI or heavily modded...

 

couldnt tell you....i don't remember....i need to talk to Wheatley about the tq mgmt....i know he said he was going to get rid of a lot of it i think he was gonna remove like 75%(i might be wrong).... but to be honest the truck doesn't jump off the line anymore then it use to. the only gear I can see a big change in is 2nd...

 

I avg 14.5mpg....not bad.
