which tires do you have? and no it doesnt sound right

NVM found it you have the rugged trails which weigh a ton, on my sock rim they weighed 20lbs a peice more than the same size general tire, and that was a 30.5" tire. I think that is hurting you out of the hole.
do you remember your mph then and now, i bet you picked up there

That doesn't make any sense. How would a slipping tranny affect the bottom of 1st gear without a 1-2 shift?

Ya I need to get new tires for sure.....probably will here in the next few months....but i was hooking pretty good off the line. and I had lots of air in the fronts.

stock he ran 15.6 and now he is running 15.7-15.8

If you still have your old wheels and tires, find out how much they weigh compared to your billet specialties wheels and tires. Aftermarket wheels are usually heavier and that can hurt your times.

FYI my 60' when I first got my truck was 2.445. Stock except for the 20's.
