I'm sure the questions has been asked, but what is the fastest time for a cam only 5.3 truck with the rest of the long block stock other than the cam and valvetrain?

 

depends on gears, extended cab or regular, I would say a bone stock 5.3 reg cab with just a cam swap would prolly not be that fast without other mods.

 

When he says "cam only" he means with full bolt ons.

Not sure in the world but I know on here v8 and bluecajun5.3 ran consistant 12.4x's. There was an RGV guy who claimed to best it but I never saw a timeslip or video, not sayin he didn't, I just never saw any proof.

i think i still have the title for fastest all motor 5.3 extended cab on the stock cam 13.8

 

Yes full bolt ons with the only engine modification being a cam. A stock 5.3 long block. I know bluecajun5.3 runs mid 12's, but he has a ls6 intake.

 

ls6 intake is a bolt on.
