Default Woohoo Hit 11's!!!

Well, my goal for this season was to hit 11's, seemed like it was far away since last summer at the track with my stock 4L60E I got a best of 13.1 before toasting the trans. Put in a 4L80E last Nov, fine tuned the setup with Cartuning Performance and went back to the track a few months ago and got a best of 12.3 but I knew she had more in her.

On Friday night it was cool and not busy so was a perfect night. I showed up and did a 12.006, then my next run was 11.965, I was very happy but I knew I needed to back that up with another sub 12sec run so I did a few more runs and hit another 11.97, SWEET, even the guy handing out time slips was rooting for me.

That run also had a worse 60ft time + right at the end of the track I felt the truck lose power a bit then pick back up so she has more in her for sure. Might need to change out that stock Flex Fuel Pump I'm thinking. I did about 6 runs and had no knock at all, overall a great night.

Here's the slips and a video, sadly didn't have the best camera for night time shooting but you get the picture

Agreed, this is my daily driver and I didn't want to go too crazy, but over the winter I think I'm going to put a cam in her and do some head work. I'm happy with 11's on stock motor but don't want that holding me back

Nice. I've always wondered why people feel they have to back up their new personal best time with another one like it. You don't accidentally run faster lol. One dip into whatever ET territory you're in and its safe to say your vehicle can run that time. If you had run nine 12 second passes and one 11 second pass, it would still be an 11 second truck

I agree, but safer to have two in one night i guess, funny because I wasn't the only one that night trying to do the same thing a few other cars were as well. Also proved to myself that I could drive consistently as well which was good.
