Default Wondering 🤔

Whats the biggest cam i can use on my 4.8 completely stock with out changing my lifters or pushrods since i replaced them 2 months ago...

I wouldn't go much more than a 212/218 low lift honestly, but even with that cam you will still have to run at least ls6 springs and get it tuned for it, and for peace of mind I would get a pushrod length checker.

U think it will make a difference on speed ? Really trying to make my truck fast so i can smoke this 6.0 thats been punking me

It will help, but you're still gonna need some more mods to overcome the extra 1.2 liters of displacement. Especially if he has mods done. A tsp 220 cam matched with at least a 3200 stall and some gears in a 4.8 would make a very notable difference. 4.8's like to rev. If you really wanna beat him on a budget your best bet is to get a wet nitrous kit and hit it with a 100 shot. With 93 Octane in the tank on the stock tune you should be okay.
