i have 10 gauge to the pumps with the power wire right off the battery.
a voltage booster might be needed but i think there is some problem that is keeping me from geting the amount of fuel i had last year. i will probably get to go test out the fuel filter fix tomorrow.

grr. still not fixed. what is happening is wierd. on the gauge my fuel presure is going up when the boost comes on but not as much as i would think. it goes to about 65psi where i would expect it to goto 70+psi. at wot and ~19psi the gauge does move around a little. just kinda floats between 62 and 65psi. in the past when the pump was out of capasity it would just drop off at the top of each gear. not float around like that.
i tried adding a ton of fuel just to see what would happen. the gauge did exactly the same thing. it did get a little richer on the wideband but at the track i couldn't get it to go rich, it actualy got leaner. i did have open exhaust and more boost and with as much fuel as i programed in i thought the thing should have just dived over from being too rich and it didn't.
here is the really odd part. while the gauge doesn't move much my logging of the sensor puts the voltage all over the place. just going by the log i would say i am going under 50psi but the gauge doesn't show that. the log of the sensor is probably a lot faster than the gauge.
i am going to try one more thing. i just ordered the parts so i can plumb my two fuel rails in parallel instead of one into the other. if that doesn't fix me up then i will look into a voltage booster for the pumps or even a whole new fuel sytem with a larger feed line.
