Why are my mph's so slow
#11
I dont get it as well.
My 04' RCSB 5.3 3.73's ran a 15.729 @ 88.69mph at 4,000ft. Volant, Corsa, HPPIII
And the 05' ran as listed below. Same Track and similar conditions.
Its 230am here and I am bored.

Sometimes it depends on wheelspin. If you don't spin any at all you'll come up with a lower et, but a lower MPH, and just the opposite if you do spin a little. Higher MPH but lower ET. But i've noticed a lot of hemi's running quick times with low mph too. There was one on here that ran like a 9.4 at 74 mph. Most chevy guys that run 74 mph r only running something like a 9.6 or 9.7, or if your like me and roast the tires 400ft down track, it's a 10 flat at over 73, but...lockers gettin installed in less than a week

Yea, I was going to say the same thing. I have a real high mph for my truck. When you spin you trap higher. I have trapped 105.6 before and ran a 13.7. The next year I ran a 13.53 at 104.1. I think my problem that time was not enough bottle pressure at the track and spinning real bad. I pretty much spin all the way thru first gear when at the track. If I could get it to hook I should be well in the 12's at 108 ( this is with the mods I have installed in the past year and weight reduction that I have deleted).
