Stock= Street car
Anything else is pure race. CAI, TUNE, cam, different size tires!, hell a muffler makes a race truck!!! especially if they are smaller then stock!!!!! Tinted windows if above 50% then street, if 35% or darker then race truck!!

Smart man. I'm now dailying a Civic because my truck is too low, loud, and is only questionably reliable.

There are alot that are streetable but not street car. Ive got a buddy with a sn95 mustang built with a c4 tranny yea he can drive it 3hr trip but he can only run 55-60 because its turning so many rpms. My lightning for example i can still fill it up with pump gas and drive to california running 10mph over the speed limit with the ac kicking and run 10s on race day. I do trailer it to the track so i dont have to worry about a ride home if it breaks nor having to swap wheels and tires at the track.

as for the street truck debate....tagged, licensed, insured with DOT tires on pump gas. that includes e85 which is sketchy in our area. also with a good size fuel tank.

i used to be on the AC band wagon, but my current build didnt have the room to fit the AC box in the factory location. maybe one day i can afford to put an aftermarkt ac system in.
I was just giving the guy a compliment and poking at fords. Nothing different then most guys around here. Only difference is I get **** on when I do it. So my head isn't in my *** just a little razing and you got all worked up.

you get **** on because you come across as an *** hole when poking fun. a simple smiley can lighten up the tone of your posts alot. example

I say the most impressive part of this post is you have a 10 sec. Lightning. What all is done?

Exactly. I used to daily drive my truck when it had the 408 in it. While I loved driving it, I always wished I had a stock car I could hop in and never have to look at the gauges, check oil pressure, AFR, ect. I bought a 2009 Nissan Sentra that I daily now and I love it . Now its time to go fast in the "street racing truck"

So if you drive it to work every day, including winter time, and tow a big RV trailer can it still qualify as a race truck? Many people are confused by this.

I agree ac is a big factor. If you drive it every day confortably then 99% of the time it would be considered street by most. Confortably is the key word.

IMO.... What The Hell Does It Matter???? Everybody has there own opinion, some of these arguments are dumb. No a/c, tires, pulling up on a trailer it's all irrelevant. Everybody is getting there panties all in a bunch trying to find the definition of a street truck or race truck.

so a guy calls you out for $500 on the street. you agree to meet in the middle. you drive 50 miles and pulls his truck 50 miles on a trailer because he cant afford to drive that far on c16 and it only has a 3 gallon fuel cell, an under sized radiator and no stickers/insurance on 25" wide slicks.

do you run his street truck anyways?
