L33 had flat tops and 799 heads right? Mine isnt I'm pretty sure. I know I don't have 799s, I have 862s or whatever is the casting number. Also think the L33s never came in RCSBs

I ran stock 243's on my 5.3, then added baby cam and Yank 3600. She would run 12.8 to 13.0 near 105mph. Great motor.

I still have one of the cams I used, would sell cheap if anyone is interested.

I'd say 14.30-40's. I basically have same mods as you plus 34-3600 circle d stall. Haven't ran it on street tires but have run a best of 13.70@96 on a slick. The plus is your truck is lighter by a few hundred lbs. try it out and let us know!

The only problem is that my truck has heavy 22s on it because they were on there when I bought the truck and I haven't got around to buying new wheels yet, and there is a center console sub box in there, so I'm assuming those are adding a bit of weight. I want to buy some lighter, smaller wheels.
