Kooks 98-02 Fbody headers will fit. Either the 1-7/8" or the 1-7/8" to 2" stepped headers will both fit the same. I know the TSP 1-7/8" ceramic coated Fbody headers will fit as well and are not nearly as expensive. If you're in the market for a 2" header I think Kooks is your only option. IMO, unless you NEED a stainless header for climate reasons or whatever, get the coated TSPs and save the money. The TSPs are $499 new and Kooks are in the $800 neighborhood or more for the stepped version. You've also got ARH that makes 1-7/8" headers but IMO, they are overpriced. I'm sure there's people that will say that they are the best header out there yada yada and have to validate their purchase and I'm not discounting their quality but for way less than half the price. I believe TSPs make just as much power.

if they dont salt your roads, you cannot beat the TSP price. Theres a picture out there of a TSP header next to a kooks header and they look IDENTICAL. every bend is the same. the 1 7/8 stepped to 2" header requires re-routing the tranny coolant lines and they only come with a 3.5" collector which touched the frame rail on the passenger side. i ran true dual exhaust so i pulled it in when welding the x pipe up and had plenty of clearance.

My kooks took some slight modifications. Had to cut the ears off of the bell housing portion of the trans and had to notch the frame on the pass side for clearance. A ding would have probably done the trick, but I don't do that.

Doesn't sound too bad for clearance.

I also had to trim an ear off the pass side of the 4L80 and trim a tab off the frame and still have a little contact with #6 primary on a set of Kooks 1-7/8 to 2" f-body headers.
