not sure were to post this guys.. lol
Well i have a 99 RCSB 5.3 Silverado..
Looking to see a good estimate on my quarter mile time..
i have long tube headers.. Cold air intake.. 3in full exhaust.. no cats in to 2 dumped Bullet mufflers... Black bear tune.. Transgo HD2 Shift kit.. 2nd gear vette servo.. and 4th gear billet sonnax servo..
i know a bunch of factors play a role in my 1/4 times but im just wanting to get a good estimate on what it would run with the mods..
Helpful note is i ran the truck stock on street tires and it ran a 15.7 at 87mph with a 2.3 60ft.. with 16in eagle alloys with 285/60/16 tires
i then ran it with 20's on street tires with just a black bear tune and got a 15.7 at 90mph with a 2.6 60ft.. traction was a issue lol boss 330's with 275/45/20 tires
all the help is appreciated!
Thanks mike.

Not necessarily, drove my buddies 5.3 rcsb with just bolt-ons and 4.10 gears to a 13.7@99mph all stock internal. It can be done with tires and gears.

Big difference between the 3.42's that he has, and the 4.10's in your buddie's truck. Plus he's still on the stock converter. I could be wrong(wouldn't be the first time), but I'm still predicting 15's with his setup as it is right now.

You should be mid to low 14s I have a 2006 rcsb 373 CAI, predator programmer, no muffler, vette servo, with no bumper spare or tail gate i ran 14.7s all day at 92 mph. The weight reduction helped me on the big end but i spun on the launch. You can run 14.5s at least probably better. Biggest thing hurting u is gears right now
