yall think 29' is too tall?
honest opinion? yes go with a 28x10.5

those heads have dual springs and such right? you need hollow stems and SS valves, REV makes a great valve for those heads.. get it ported, i know a damn good porter if you need any help.

With good tuning that should be an easy mid 12 second ride. I agree on the tire size. I'd go with a 27 or 28 inch tire since you really could get away with a 26 on a good sticky track and a 27/28 range will get you all you need with the suspension working on most tracks. I agree with the Pacesetter part. I'm not quite so harsh on it, but they are a nice header for the money and a very good header for a mild 6.0L or agressive 4.8L/5.3L setup. For an agressive 6.0L or bigger you want that 1 7/8" primary to get things going. You won't even lose any low end power as some claim you will. Some have used the Kooks 4th gen Camaro 1 7/8" as the are almost the same header with a slightly altered outlet. I'm waiting yet to see someone build a 2" header for the 400+ inch trucks. Things are only going to keep getting better from here. You may however run into an issue soon enough with the throttle body. The truck 87mm throttle body tends to flutter and cause issue's much over the 500fwhp range. You can directly replace it with an LS9 throttle body and get rid of that problem. An LS2 will also do the job, but won't open all the way. Make sure you port the throttle body also, even the current one.

Where'd you come up with 13.5? My big heap ran 13.7, lol. I'd be really surprised if you aren't in the 12's.

I wouldn't go off buying new tires without trying the ones I have. I can see it dead hooking with a 29" tire and running some easy 12's.
