Unhappy went to the track, disappointed, help me out

ok, i thought for sure i would have been in the 14s, but i was in for a surpraise. i went yesterday and was some what heart broken

if yall dont know my setup, its a 97 ECSB 4x4, 355, zz4 cam, 9.7-1 CR, p&p 906 heads, full long tube headers and 2.5 inch exhuast and a CAI

1st problems i noticed, she wouldnt shift from 2nd-3rd right away, it would peg the rev limiter 2 or 3 times than shift, and my SES would start flashing towards the end of the track, but it didnt feel any different, till i left, but thats another story.

anyways, heres my times

4HI launch

60 ' = 2.391
330 = 6.600
1/8 = 10.132
mph = 69.88
1000 = 13.151
1/4 = 15.738
mph = 86.66

2HI launch

60' = 2.363
330 = 6.514
1/8 = 9.969
mph = 71.60
1000 = 12.915
1/4 = 15.452
mph = 88.44

now, when i left the track, i got on it through 2nd, and around 4500 RPM, it start spittin and sputterin, and missing (popping out the exhuast) and wouldnt pull any more. havent had time to check it out but it wont do it in 1st.

so, all advice welcome/needed
thanks yall

pull your plugs out and give em a look. A bliking light shows a misfire and that would explain the sputtering, check for burnt plugwires and just the normal things. Good luck and hope ya get it worked out!

I had a 94 and it would start to spit and sputter around those rpms, Especially in first for some reason. checked the plugs, wires, messed with the timing. nothing helped. pulled the fuel filter and finally found the problem. I couldn't blow through that filter if my life depended on it it was so clogged. I would start there.
