Default weight reduction

What have you all taken out or done to your trucks for weight reduction?

I haven't done all of these but I know some on here go all out.
- passenger seats
- consoles
- tailgates
- spare tires
- exhaust systems after header/manifolds
- no more than 1/4 tank of gas
- lighter batteries
- pull A/C components
- dash removal
- door speakers
- remove radio head unit
- drain washer fluid
- trailer hitch

May be a little extreme list but whatever works for some

I got my ext cab down to 4200lbs last time I was at the track with her...

no bumper (roll pan)
no spare
no tailgate
no back seat
no front pass seat.

I know I could take a lot more out of it with removing the front swaybar (40lbs) along with some other misc stuff under the truck like the spare jack and brackets and mounting points not being used.... my truck has power everything and dual power seats too so its a heavy pig. I am sure I could get mine down under 4000lbs... with you being a reg cab I'd say about 3700 or so for you.. maybe even less.

pass side headlight and pimp light out (cold air)
mirrors folded in (aero dynamics)
at least 1/4 if running 3k stall or your engine will starve for feul from them 1.73 60'

front sway bar 20
center consol 30
pass seat 60
tailgate 50
rear bumper & brackets 60
spare 60

weight is a rough estimate but pretty damn close.

On a Ram:

Front Sway 60lbs
Spare 20" 90lbs
Tailgate 65lbs
Bumper/Tow Bracket 100lbs
Passenger seat 80lbs

All that and my rc/sb ram would still tip the scales at 4500lbs without me in it.

Mirriors folded in is a good one too, don't know how the Chevy ones compare to the Ram's but they are huge. Hemi777 also puts plexiglass cutouts in his grill, claims it's worth 2mph in the 1/4 keeping that grill from acting like a scoop though you'll need to watch out for cooling problems, he always lets his cool down after each run.

I only dropped the spare. I need an impact wrench to get this darn hitch off!

Replaced seats with racing seats, removed sway bar, exhaust heat shield, spare tire and all spare tire mounting pieces, stock jack, various metal brackets/other parts under the truck, radio .

At the track, the tailgate comes off and I run alittle over 1/4 tank of gas. Also run the headlight mod.

Before November, the ac, insulation, and probably the carpet will all be removed.
