Looks like i wasnt far off from my first guess. The truck would probably be a bit quicker if you could run slicks instead of 4wd just from the shorter tire and lack of parasitic losses.

Thats what im think..puttin all the power to the rear tires instead of 4 tires...thinking a 29.5x10.5 would be a good size

Thats way too much tire. You would be better served with a 28" slick.

The Hoosier 28 x 10 x 16 is very well used tire in the past on this forum for stock power vehicles.

BTW, you might just try 2wd launch on your regular street tires. Do a small burnout. IIRC, I was able to go 13.7 on my stock street tires with a stock 6.0

I ran a couple times in 2wd but i didnt brake stall launch it..i just rolled into in fear of smoking the tires

Your truck is a lot lighter. Apples to oranges. In good weather I managed a 14.3 bolt ons only.

Im gonna change to a single exhaust, get a good slick for the back, and might get justin at blackbear to check my tune before i try again
