Truckin' it down the strip... new PB
#21
Went back and found a post of the actual times...
These were run in Gulfport, MS on 3/1/06 around 8pm. According to the DragTimes calculator DA was 493' which corrected the first pass ET to 12.73@105. Using the same calculator your best time above corrects to a 12.59@105.42 with a 1702' DA. Hope that helps with your comparison.
My ET Streets are fired too! The truck didn't do too bad for her maiden voyage since the new powertrain. I only got two motor passes and wasn't hooking for anything.
First Pass: 12.78@105 with a 1.88 60'
Second pass spun even worst to a 12.79@105 1.92 60'
I have a little more in her thru tires/suspension and a few tweeks in the tune. Then it will be time to hit it with the gas.

Yup I agree/ am the same with the CV angles on launch.
I've never had torque steer or any problems up front.
I don't have tie rod sleeves on my Z71 , but do have them on my Dmax , I bought them from PPE ( pacific performance engineering) not sure if they have them for 1/2 tons , but I bet if you get ahold of Eric Merchant up in Holland MI, he can get you a set reasonable .

yeah, I've got some "ready-lift" tie-rod sleeves that I've had sitting around for years from wanting to put them on my Sierra, but they didn't fit... Never did figure out if they were HD or 2500, or what, though... ?
That's one reason I was wondering if anyone reading here had some that fit properly, and if so, which ones they were...
