Default traction tonight?

so tonight im headed to the strip.....trying to decide if i should launch in 4hi or 2wd......on the street if i launch in 2wd i spin for about 60-80 ft.....when i launch in 4hi i usually put into 2wd at the end of 1st and then it lets loose and i go squirrley....i loose tons of power if i run 4hi the whole way though.....any ideas? i'm running 275/65/18 bfg rugged trails....its in between an all terrain and radial.

I run mine in 4hi through the 1/4. Manual transfercase. I have dr's on all four corners. I do a 2wd burnout, then stick it in 4hi for the pass. I check my tire rollout after every track day and rotate them acordingly to keep the rollout to within an 1/8".

Good luck tonight! your truck will hook just fine in 4hi, especially with the tires your running. let us know how it does.
