Ahhh thats what your MAF is for. My truck gets air forced in, seems to work.

its 4" dryer hose. Durable but yet you can squash it to make it in-between the Efans and belt. if you could find some one to bend some 4" for you and squash them then it would be killer!

talk to Patrick over at vara ram, he might be able to make some tubes out of the plastic that the box is made of

Speed density tuning corrects for air changes as well. SD uses air temp and pressure to calculate fueling. SD and Maf tuning both command fueling for different air flows, they just go about measuring it differently.

yes i know how SD works, just maf is more efficient at doing it imo, esp when talking about vol of incoming air. My last truck was SD, and wasnt very consistent in changes, somedays it would fly, and somedays seems like i lost 2cyl..

PLEASE DO SOME RESEARCH IF YOU PLAN ON MAKE ANY PERFORMANCE WITH YOUR TRUCK! YOU WILL INSTANTLY LEAR(SHOULD ANYHOW) THAT MORE AIR IS HOW YOU MAKE POWER.

Now I got if off my chest, ignorance is OK but if you are in the drag racing forum I would think you should know by now that forcing air is how you make power. weather it is a big cone on the front of your car or a supercharger sitting on the motor. Nitrous is also mainly used because it puts lots of oxygen into the motor to make power.

hahaha... ok ??? i have a stock setup on my truck for air intake, still have the same paper filter that came in the truck. my friend has the same truck as me, single cab 5.3, same gears, same modifications, tuned by same guy... except he has a volant CAI with the ram air tube......... I still beat him. and he doesnt seem to pull harder at higher speed than me. So what i was tryin to say... for a stockish n/a truck.... forcing air through a pipe sticking out in front, is not goin to do much difference in my opinion..... Of cource forcing more air makes more power, thats why they have superchargers, turbos, and a bigger cam will also net you more air because the mount of time the intake valve is open. so dont assume i was talkin about every setup and application out there.
