My best up to date motor pass is a 8.56 with a 1.89 60' in 4Hi. Mods are in sig besides stall. I changed it but I guess it didn't save. I have a PI3200 in it now as well as when I got that pass. I just got some PRC stage 2.5 5.3 heads yesterday and wanna install them pretty quick. Anyone think it could get in the 7s with just heads?

 

Nope, but could get you close, have you taken the weight off the truck yet?

 

It weighed 4800 with me in it and a little over half tank. I wanna remove the helper springs and the rear bumper soon. What else is there to do to remove weight?

 

8.56=13.4 1/4
7.99=12.5 1/4

thats almost a second gain right there in the quarter mile. i say you could get some 8.2's out of it which would be high 12's so thats not bad at all if you ask me

 

Yeah. I can't argue with that. It already surprises me right now for what I have done to it.

 

im trying to do some more things to mine, have 04 RCSB Z71 with whats in sig. im running 8.9 with a 2.0 60" before the headers, besides the cam and headers what made then next biggerst diff

I would say convertor and bigger cubes. What kind of tune you running?

 

I feel stupid now cause I just read where you had a RPM tune.

 

its a custom tune for my truck from RPM in Garner NC

 

What injectors you running? Cause it seems with those mods you should be about maxed out with stockers. Do you launch in 4HI or have slicks for rear? Also what size tire you running? And what gears?
