Went to the track saturday the 11/20/2010 to see what the truck would run and ended up getting 3rd place and the semifinals trophy. Pretty exciting.

Best was a 16.09. Im takin the shell and tailgate and subs out and try and get into the 15's this saturday. ($15 to race and 12 to watch so come on out)

Caution light. mustang dropped some fliuds. had to wait a few minutes

After my final run, Trophy on the roof

Brackets? Bracket racing is a blast...very involving if you really get into it. Good luck hitting 15's!

Did you pump your front tires up to 50-60 psi? If not that along with the weight reduction should net you 15s. Don't be suprised if you don't hit it. I know you are close but many times that is the way it goes. Next time out might get you slower times. I hope not but just don't want you to think you have 15s in the bag.

Thanks, Gonna practice my launch with the weight reduction. I cant afford the burnouts on these tires.

Naw man my tires say 35 psi max. all 4 were around 32. Should i bump the front up above the max??? what about the rears?

Ive only done a cold air intake, -muffler straight pipe in its place, 35"tires, stock 4.11 gears, fresh tune up. seeing what i can do before headers and tune.

Yes you can put the fronts to 50 without issue. I have had my fronts at 50 for a year now seeing as the track and street playing/racing is all the truck sees. You could put 100 psi on the tires and they won't blow up.

With those big meats you need to reduce all the rolling resistance possible. I would be willing to bet a set of skinies would drop 2-3 tenths off your time. Atleast at a very well preped track. The track is sooo sticky those big meats really take allot of power to keep spining.
