i raced a fox body mustang last night.he had a build 302 5 speed tranny.we raced twice.i outrun him bad the first time.i think he missed a gear.the 2nd race i spun real bad and blowed my motor up.lol.i still had him until the motor started going away.he got me a car length.i think i melted a piston and pressurized the crankcase and it blow my valve covers off.lol

 

WTF? If ya need a good motor holler at me, I have one I'm bout to put back together shortly!

 

haha... dang that sucks! I cant say nothing back in the day, I burnt a piston up one night doing a huge burnout in front of boys house with Lightning that had been talkin a bunch of smack.

 

how many pounds of boost were you pushing when the 4.8 blew

 

what kind of motor you got?i went and got a 5.3 today cheap but i also found a ls1 for 400 bucks im gone go look at monday.i checked comp on the 4.8 today and it had zero on #7.lol

 

haha.well some boys from hazlehurst called me out so...........i thought it was pretty good a 4500lb truck outrun a 2800lb car and i about made enuff money off the race to buy a motor.lol

 

only 11psi.it was to lean.casey23 told me that but im hardheaded.lol
