LMFAO.

just joking...as usual.

Once I got moving I felt like it was pulling way harder than it has before. My air filter looked like a compacted brick of ****. So removing it did me a little good I believe. Now the question is to get the Perfombuilt lvl 2 or not. I really like the idea of having a 1 year warranty no questions asked.

Never got the wheatley stickers either?

for what you got i would go with the 26" tall dr tires it will give you tracktion and more gear at the track.i ran a 1.64 60' with them so you be good unless you plan on spraying it any.

Oh ok. That isn't a disaster at all for the mods on street tires..just crappy traction issues.

Do yourself a favor & get some slicks!!

Did you happen to weigh the truck??

they didn't have a scale there. All I've done is removed the spare and the trailering hitch. I imagine it's in the 4500lb range.

Those are good times. As others have said, traction is key. If you can get traction and cut your 60' times to say, 1.8, you're looking at a mid-13 at the end. Your gears are fine, you just can't put that much power through stock tires and expect to launch well.

What was the track conditions when you went: location (I'm assuming in Ill, right?), temp and humidity.

I'm sure you know this, but below a 13.9 will require a helmet...

Good runs!

temps were in the 40s or 50s with a strong wind. It was cold! Humidity was probably nothing. The track was Gateway raceway in Madison, Illinois. What's the best 60' times people have gotten on the stock converter? I know definitely if I could have got the power down right off the line it would have been going 13s easily. Regarding the helmet....I was wondering why the guy next to me in the mustang had a helmet lol. But I don't think they enforce that rule there....I saw many people in the 13s and 12s without a helmet.
