OK day at piedmont

Went out hoping for some decent times. I havent taken the truck down the track in 6 months so I figured with the temps now was the time. Got to see some big dog 10.5 outlaw grude racing
thats always fun.
Unfortunately no new best times but with this air I was cutting a 1.9 60" everytime I ran(street tires air to 20psi 2wd launch), I was pleased with that but the 1/8 was still a .15 off from my best of 8.8@79
best today
1.9 60ft
8.9 1/8
78 mph
no tailgate or spare weight is around 5300 with me and 1/4 tank. I dont get it Ive never been able to cut a 1.9 60 consistently and here it is and I dont gain any on the big end. Ran both an 8.9 with 21 degrees wot and with 26 wot, 26 run I had one spike of kr that pulled 3 degrees at the biggining of second and I think that was my 8.8 pass. Im ready for a new setup something is in the works for this year the stock tranny is complaining and the 5.3 just isnt enough.
Kano get that **** dialed in time for bigger slicks

The 6sec trans am was sweet, but at least he got out of the way quick

Good job you got your heavy pig running good for what you have done. Have you considered spraying it and doing an intake swap? LQ4s are fairly cheap and Patriot has a nice deal on 243 heads, would make for a damn nice setup

I think how well they had the track prepped helped alot
When I walked across the track I thought it was gonna pull my shoe off LOL
Probably because of the big dog cars and big $$$ on the line
