went out today to compare 3.42s to 4.10s, not a big difference...
3.42 & 45*
60' 1.934
1/8 8.266
mph 85.91
1/4 12.929
mph 103.51
NEW
4.10 & 75*
60' 1.886
1/8 8.177
mph 85.08
1/4 12.825
mph 105.90
so trapping 106 mph, i would think thats good for low 12's???
truck weighed 4090lbs 4300lbs with me in it.

wait a minute...I thought you switching from 4.10s to 3.42s. Did you put 4.10s back in? Anyways, I think you got a nice gain there. Once you start getting faster and faster I'd guess that the gains from 4.10s go down in the 1/4th compared to a stockish setup.

i do think my suspension is a mess though. my shackles are too long and rubbing on the bottom of the bed and my overloads move side to side after every launch. lol

i dont think i spun, my stall is pretty tight and it was really crowded so i didnt get to try launching higher or anything. the weight was with almost a half a tank of gas.

I got those 1" drop shackles that came with my drop kit, they are sitting on my bench, well they are a little longer than 1", but you can have them if you want.
