made some passes on slicks/spray tonight and i'm very happy with the times, this was on a 75 shot an 28x10.5x15S MT ET drags. i made 3 on nitrous and one on motor.

did you keep the 20s on up front? How heavy are they?

And what gear ratio are you running?

 

yeah i keep the 20's up front when i race. they weight prob 15 lbs more than stockers each. gears are still 3.23's.

 

8 MPH GAIN ON A 75 SHOT IS PRETTY GOOD...IMO !! Work on that sixty foot and you have a 12 second truck easy !

pretty good run for just a 75 shot. the 2005's ec's are heavy compared to the earlier models. ask me how i know

you should be faster than that with the 228r cam... like mensioned above you need some gears.. 3.73 at the min

 

gears are deffiantely in the future, even on nitrous i'm still barely getting into 3rd gear at the traps. its getting some 4.10's and a true trac whenever i can get the $$

 

nice times for what you have and the way it is set up you have alot of room to go faster though keep going to you get what you want.
