For some reason the PI has been pretty tight. If you over stall it it will spin so it's more of a 2000 stall then flash. The PI feels good on the street, but if you want killer 60ft at the track and you want a PI you would need a 4200 or 4400 on a N/A set-up. I had a loose stall before advertized at 3800 and man my 60ft would average 1.65. I had a good feeling about this converter on Nitrous because I've noticed a tighter (3400 - 3600) TC will yield better ETs and MPH. Sort of like in FI set-ups.

I bought these heads from a friend, but he had sent them to a guy named Jeff down in Harlingen, TX. He has a very good reputation on these LS1 set-ups. They are P/P with 2.00 and 1.57 Manley swirl posished valves with a back cut and a .045 mill with 7.35 push-rods.

Do you know what the STR is on the PI stall? What kinda 60's are you getting with it in NA form?
I know once i get my parts together i'm gonna spray as well but NA is my main concern.

I don't know the STR and it's a 10.5 not a 9.5 if I'm correct. If I would do it again I would get the 9.5.

I'm averaging about a 1.74 right now on the 4k. You can probably call PI and explain to them that you want a loose stall for a N/A set-up. This is the second re-stall and it is still tight. However I have a friend with a 4400 PI and he gets killer 60ft on 6.0. something in the 1.5x. With those stalls the TC may become inefficient on the top end so you may have to lock it at around 85MPH depending on gears.

Sounds good man, thanks for the insight on how the stall is. Looks like i need to make a couple calls before biting the bullet on the stall just yet.
thanks man.

There was weight reduction with the removal of the passenger seat, the center console, the spare and that's all I can think of right now. I don't know the race weight. Once I weigh it I'll let you know.

Good looking truck spike, and fast too I bet you can get a 10.xx with a little more tweaking. Good luck
