spike i never said you did not run that time i never even ? the time i have been doing my own research i know you and rest run pure meth,are race gas to run more timing,you'll take the truck down in weight(everyone does just some go father than others)what suspenion mods do you have,whats the compression of the motor are better what are the cc of your heads,all this makes a big different you,james,have the most work done to a 5.3 cajun,v8 are cam only witch is a big difference.

and i bet you this i am not the only one wantting to know this.all is good you just have to expect the ? running a time like that.

Well I don't know the exact numbers but the heads were milled .045 and I think the CR is just a little over 10.1:1. I ran 108 octane that night with a motor tune because my tuner was unable to make the adjustments. I want to go weigh the truck today because I'm curious too. I will work on doing more weight reduction as well.

There are no suspension mods. I want to work on the suspension by removing the sway bar and installing some adjustable shocks. I know there was a truck with very little suspension mods that ran a 10.99 with a 427. I need to ask him.

I know I probably have the most motor mods on a 5.3, but I figured I might as well make the investment because I can use it on my future set-up. All the pieces on this combo have been a slow process with a lot of research. The FAST really works. The TNT has the best reputation. The guy that worked on my heads has an excellent reputation also.

 

This is my logic also. What mods I do to the 5.3 are going to work well on my 5.7 when it is time. All I'll need is a block and a good rotaing assembly.

 

I saw the video of your 11 second run man that thing launches hard. What was your 60ft. I want to install a radix on my 08 I hear they are very fun to drive.
