well took the truck out to local 1/8th mile track last night went with half tank of gas and only one weight reduction that is the tail gate didn't even the front headlight out. I still got some bugs to fix in the tune but im pretty impressed with the times next time i go im going full weight reduction less than quarter tank no back seat or tailgate. i should knock off a tenth or 2 with the weight reduction and some more tuning.

Depending on the weather/traction, I should have a better time wednesday if the track prep is ok. I haven't ran out at kennedale with slicks yet (only recently ran at ennis with slicks) so I'm not sure if I will run better or worse yet. But I am thinking about taking off the tailgate and pulling the headlight at kennedale to see if I can pull a 8.2

yea i was about 200 lbs lighter last time i ran and i ran faster this time so im hoping to drop down to 8.3 and 81 82 trap speed. i need a bigger converter mine doesn't flash high enough for me to get a hard launch. i might be going to memphis next thursday so i can get some 1/4 mile times.
