very true lol, i seen the pulley i was like wtf welded this, but i didnt say anything lol, i fgiured you knew it was a crappy weld with NO pentration!!
besides that, that was one hellva run, congrats on the new times and record !!!

I'm still learning to tig. I don't have too many problems when I'm welding two pieces together that are the same thickness. But with the pulley being fairly thin compared to the shaft (solid), I need to be more agressive with the penetration of the thicker metal. I was worried that if I got too hot when melting the shaft I might blow through the pulley. I guess thats what the pedal is for huh.
