Did you end up finding the lost power per the ls1 thread? add any timing back into her?

You need to weld some support ribs on the bracket that the s/c mounts to.It flexes under load and causes the water pump pulley to come off. PM Superado, he should have some pics of the ribs on the support brackets. Nice time BTW.

Yea, I threw a little timing at it. Plugs look HOT though. Still have some testing to do to see what it really likes.

Here's the burnout (just cause it's cool):

...and the 10.46 run (my camera woman was struggling):

Gotta say i love your setup, everything from the drivetrain to suspension, great times also, now lets see some low 10s...
you worried at all about lifting a head with that much psi on stock heads? whats the comp ratio on your motor?

It lifted the head once, when I ran 10.96 on 15 psi. I had a lot of timing in it and it was on the ragged edge. You can still see the little water trail down the side of the block. It left a little puddle on the trailer that night on the ride home. I didn't even realize it till the next morning when I saw the puddle. I let it completely cool off and been good ever since. Engine is about 9.5:1 compression. I haven't had the valve covers off this engine in 2.5 years.
