yeah, I had a set built at a shop here locally and they did stop the wheel hop but nothing else. They do nothing for planting the power. I've built some longbars that did work but by the time you put the $$ and headache into them you'd be just as well off buying cal-tracs. Calvert has truck specific bars out now. I'm curious for someone here on this site (making good power and that goes to the track often enough to give real comparisons) to get their hands on a set and see hwo they work versus the conventional Cal-Tracs.

high 11's actually, small cam-only LQ4 with about 130K on it, and a small shot ...

I'll buy some spring clamps & try those. I'm kinda shut down till after the holidays. I know having a longer wheel base, puts you in a different launch patch.. Keniff how do you do your burnouts?

i got around the water box, back in, put it in 1st gear roll the tires over a little bit. roll up to do the burn out with it still in 1st gear. i do about 3-4 sec of a burn out at 3500-4000 rpm. i come to a stop, and then roll up to the tree and put it back in OD. hold the gas to 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500, 3000. my truck loves the 800-1000rpm range

Thanks. I really need to find the best way.. I know a John Force burnout doesn't work, and just cleaning them off doesn't either. I'll try your way seem like it should work..

I bet your truck is a sight...seeing a CC haul like that. I know some late model Camaro's and Mustang's are probably thinkin' WTF? Could've had a CC
