Default New PB and then boom!!

Went to the hpt truck shootout 2 weekends ago and ran my pb. The new set up ran extremely well up until a few rods let go in the motor. First pass went 10.3@132 with 1.52 sixty and 2nd pass went 10.2x @126 with a 1.59 sixty.

We finally got around to taking the motor apart and there was a piston laying in the bottom if the pan. Lol it had 2 rods broken on the big end side and trash thrown around all over the place.
Ill b post more pics once we get the heads off.

You got them fancy "oil cooled" pistons right there. Nice!

Any idea why it detonated? Those are some crazy pictures. 10.2 is getting it done. Congrats

This was the 4.8L and KB compound set up still?

Not sure. I've looked over the log a few times and everything looked good. This was the 6.0 motor
