correct stew i have talked to many many people about suspension, the travel of a truck is long, though its longer its the weight factor, front to rear difference, thus taking more power and hitting it quickly to transfer the weight, the quicker the better, thus planting the tires better, front coil overs come into play here, this keeps the front up long enough to roll out the 60 ft.

my truck is at 58% front 42% rear, working on getting it 55% front 45% rear, if anything i'd like to see more weight in the middle thus not having far to transfer it to far, all long i knew i needed a trans brake well its finally happening, though Madman and some help from reading the last couple passes we made were 1:41 1:42 60 fts yes NA. and without trans brake, now i can only imagine how hard its gonna hit with a trans brake, leaf springs and cal tracs are great it'll get the job done but think about all the lost power during transfer it looses, not many think about this, then what it does to a transmission. then throwing the big and wide slicks being used.

Black00 said it all, its not about squating, its about tire and body separation and propelling the front forward, less squat less front end lift means greater ET times

Nice 60ft that truck sounds pretty fast. Wish I could get this big boat faster in the 60ft. Can't wait to put some heads on it and maybe a little spray.

I didn't realize I wasn't kicking ***. Doing the best I can. The front is going to lift some, trying to get it to transfer the weight to the back keeping it down and from unloading. How far in the 9's are you ? I do appreciate your suggestions. Just have to keep adjusting and getting the right parts. My best 60 ft. was 1.52 and my best 1/8 was 6.65 @ 105 . No I've got ladder bars.

Damn, you have all these guys rooting for you and throwing out good advise and that is how you respond? How far in the 9's are you??

I think you took his comments way out in right field. I don't believe he was trying to hurt your feelings. But it looks like he did.

Hey you are kicking ***, you know ive been a fan of your truck lol. I just meant that people on almost 100% stock suspension are kicking *** as well. And yes, the front will lift some. But squatting the rear and lifting the front is lost momentum that could be helping get down the track. Keep all the big boys in mind, they plant the rear tires but the front also hardly lifts up. And my "9s" are only in the 1/8 miles . Are your ladder bars adjustable?

And sorry if im confusing at all, its hard to describe what I mean without a visual.

I went back a read some of your posts again. Since your tires are loading and unloading and you have rear coilovers, it sounds like they just need to be tweaked. Your compression setting sounds fine. I would SLOW the rebound setting down so that after the rear squats its fighting the shock to come back up.

And forget what I said earlier about planting the rear and driving the front up and forward. That's pretty hard to do in something without a 4-link since you cant adjust for instant center and things like that.
