I agree. I need the best headers I can find, vaccum pump and an electric water pump too. Should jump me 30-40 rwhp in all.

ET Streets on stock 16" rims = 47.8 lbs
Goodyear Drag radial on stock 16" rims = 43.0 lbs
Hoosier slicks on alloy 10"x 16" rims = 47.8 lbs
Skinny's with 16" M&H = 36 LBS

Some ARH 1 7/8" would work great for you IMO. Same ones Supersub runs past 700 rwhp.

You could get them with 3.5" collectors and a 3.5" Y pipe too

What kind of price ? I don't need the y pipe for the street. I can't punch it under 50 mph now.

What midpipes are you running now? The headers alone probably run $800-900 but that's just a guess. You could always grap some 1 7/8" or 2" f-body kooks race headers used on ls1tech . I hear they fit perfect in 2wd trucks.

Just running headers, no cats, and regular size exhaust (2-1/2 ?) thru magnaflow muffler to the back. I thought it had the x pipe but it is 2 pipes straight thru. I have never heard that about F-body headers. Do you know the particular years that fit ?

Damn, you're probably giving up a good amount of power by not merging the exhaust.

Well I run cutouts at the track. I can't use any extra power on the street.

I did a good burnout for a guy today when I was leaving the gym. Just used about 1/3 throttle. This SOB will get loose in a second at lower speeds.
