Yeah, it was real cool outside. Truck was at 176 degrees except for last pull with caps back on, it was at 186. We were testing it for backpressure difference and it knocked once pretty bad around 5200 rpm area. It lasted 6 seconds and we aborted the pull.

Man...I forgot to lock the converter last night. That is some of the problem. The timing is the last issue to deal with.

Jake, sorry I missed your response. You are correct about the 1-5/8 header. I don't know why I wrote that, as they are 1-3/4"

Changed the plugs today and changed out the 10 year old plug wires that were working just fine...lol. Cleaned my motor as well with the NAPA brand spray cleaner. Fricken awesome stuff....left no water spots nor that stinking kerosene smell. I just blew it off with the air hose to quick dry.

Dyno did't happen today, hope to get back there this week !

Ok, finally got her done today. Dyno came out 465 rwhp, which is up 1 hp. The torque didn't read because of connection problem.

Now just hope the weather is good next Saturday !!

good luck Pit, seems like youre getting back to normal with the numbers, keep searching for some kooks 1 7/8th stepped to 2" headers then call it a day!!! that motor needs to breathe more and i personally think you'll gain a bit more from it..
