I didnt even know pasesetter made 1-5/8 headers?? maybe thay do iv just never seen them before, but yeah i shur hope its not 2" couse stock is 2.5", but i would say atleast 1-3/4 headers, duel 3" y pipe, and a 3.5" there back. but anyways my 5.3 always ran a tenth better with the cutout open, i think it pulled better in the mid range.

Well I am done now. Something up with the motor...down around 25/25

My mph drop wasn't the weather. I was down 7 mph last Sunday. On the dyno, I am flat lining rwhp at 4900 rpm across the entire band and torque drops off drastically at 5000 straight down hill ??? Guess I will run a compression test Sunday to see if it is rings. Really weird as I am not blowing smoke or using excessive oil. Also it was pulling timing from 26 - 22 once in a while with no knock ? Nothing consistant except loss of power at 4900 rpm. I am really stumped. Damn the bad luck !

Thx guys. Gonna pull the intake and clean out all the oil, chg plugs and do a compression check and look for air leaks. Gonna start simple because it still runs as smooth as ever and isn't missing or smoking. Almost like a breathing problem though. Maybe I sucked in a seagull at the track last week...lol

i wonder why it would be pulling so much timing without knock? those are really strange symptoms out of nowhere.
