i think i read him say that he has the heads milled a good amount, which surely makes for a higher CR. i bet it sounds good.

Good times, I see a Dodge Chevy 370 show down coming up as Brad (Wbw1 on DTW) gets the bugs worked out on his 370 stroked hemi. He is 3/4 of a second back of you but gaining serious time he heads back to the track. See the 12.58 ram thread for details.

Yeah, Looking at the conversion chart for a 7.51 1/8 time, leads to a 11.70 quarter mile time. No TRUCK that I know of compares with these charts. These conversion charts assume that a vehicle dont lose any time after the eight mile. Every truck I have seen looses time after the eight mile, look on this site. Aerodynamics and weight account for that. Now, Bluecajun and V8 dont lose as much time as the full weight trucks on their 12.5- runs because they weigh a couple of hundred pounds less when they run (stripped down). His mph and his no loss of time make me think that hes running nitrous on it already. So, thinking things over again, I dont think everything about this run has been told for us to fully judge as a legit motor only, full weight , everyday driver run, without nitrous (excluding slicks). Tell us all about this run man.

dude hasnt posted in this thread...his bluff has been called unless he can back it up. that mph is high for NA

a 370 might give you 8 hp over the same 364 motor

we need the slip to really see

It also has a eagle 4340 4" stroke crankshaft, full roller rockers, slicks, and with no tailgate, spare tire, and the passenger seat and console out, i just put a 3.90 gear and a 3500 stall under it i haven't updated yet and runs on 114 octane i'll try to scan a copy of the slip at the end of the week i dont have a scanner i'll have to go to my parents house

So its a 408(6.7L) not a 364(6.0L) that makes more sense now, BIG difference between those two motors.

Ok, sounding more like it. Who did your heads for you? What did you dyno? A dynograph would be nice to help us see where your making your power.
